A beautiful view of the Danube and the old town of Bratislava, atmospheric music and stimulating networking conversations with members and friends of the Slovak-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also known as AHK Slowakei, during a pleasant winter evening. All this together made up the AHK Christmas Gala Evening 2022 (AHK Weihnachtsgala 2022), which took place on 01.12.2022. This year the event was linked to the theme of sustainability, which is more important than ever. As part of the #PartnerForSustainability initiative, examples of best practices in implementing the circular economy in companies were presented.
AfB Slovakia was of course not absent from the event. What's more, we were rewarded for our hard work with the Slovak-German Sustainability Award! Thank you to AHK Slowakei for this award and to everyone who voted for us, we couldn't have done it without you.
What is the #PartnerForSustainability initiative?
#PartnerForSustainability is an initiative of the AHK Slovakia and its partner companies, which aims to help better harmonize economic competitiveness with environmental and social responsibility and thus actively participate in building a path to a sustainable future.
The #PartnerForSustainability Memorandum includes common principles and a call for policy makers to include sustainability issues in their agenda and to create a framework for the economy, that will support the development of sustainable business activities. It also includes specific recommendations to remove existing barriers.
